For a very authentic restaurant experience, you should visit Sivuple. Once a motorcycle repair shop, Sivuple now brings a new breath to Dolapdere in Taksim with its different service and vintage interior decoration.
Sivuple is a hidden gem in a neighbourhood home to various repairshops. It differs with both its looks and name. After getting bored with all the restaurants similar to each other, the owners decided to go bold and open a restaurant in an extraordinary location and concept. This decision resonates to everything from decoration to service.
First of all, you won’t find your regular menu at this restaurant. It changes almost every week aside from 15 different types of artisan pizzas. Decorated with vintage items, place is colourful and fun. Every furniture is unique and even tables and chairs are different from each other.
Among the city’s historical churches and apartments, Sivuple offers amazing food, Sunday brunches and even DJ performances. And after you finish eating, you’re very welcome to sit and continue having good time with friends or open your laptop to get some work done.
For Three Apples’ guests, it’s even easier to reach this special place. Just walk a few minutes on Cumhuriyet Caddesi. Take a left into Elmadağ Caddesi and walk down the hill until you see Sivuple on your left.
If you don’t want to wander far from your hotel room but wish to spend the night at a warm and friendly bar, we suggest you to visit Muaf Beyoglu. Also located in Sehit Muhtar district as Three Apples Suites & Residence, Muaf promises good music with a welcoming atmosphere.
Muaf is cozy and intimate that is small on space but very big on music. They regularly host music consept nights. Various artists play from pop, rock, hiphop and reggae to jazz and soul tunes. And other than performance nights, a DJ is spinning the set to make you dance to the beat.
Besides having a drink or two, you’re more than welcome to taste their delicious food. We loved the the appetizer platter which is zestful. Vegans will also rejoice as there’s a lot of options suited for vegans.
Art, music and joy. This is what Studio Masterpiece offers; painting pictures accompanied with good music and drinks in a joyful atmosphere. And the best thing is that you don’t need to have a painting or art background. If you haven’t hold a brush in your life that’s even more fun.
Studio Masterpiece is not a painting course. It’s a 3-hour long session where you can experience the joys of painting. At the end of the day, you will have your own masterpiece to hang on your wall or give a friend as a gift.
In the session, the artists guide you step by step through completing the painting. Some days they paint an important piece from art history, sometimes it is a beautiful piece the studio chooses. Check out their event calendar to see which picture will be painted and choose to your liking. If you want to come with a group of friends you can even schedule your own session and paint together.

You can escape from the hectic life of the city to the special garden of this lade-back place. White Mill has a wide selection menu from brunch to dinner for its loyal customers and celebrities. The place is popular with energetic waiters but there are also complaints about the late service.

Avam Kahvesi is famous with 16 different type of Turkish sodas. Cafe services mostly brunch and lunch but you can try it anytime you want. The place has friendly atmosphere, nice decoration and nostalgic musics. The menu has also wide selection of hot drinks.
1kahve has got fresh made coffee, mint lemonade, green tea and cheesecake. You can sit outside of the place and can read books and work due to its calm atmosphere.

The word Taksim means; distribution. The Taksim square was originally the point where the main water lines from the north of Istanbul were collected and branched off to other parts of the city. Taksim Square is also the location of the Monument of the Republic which was commemorates the 5th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey in 1923. The Mounment crafted by Pietro Canonica and inaugurated in 1928. The 11 meter high monument portrays the founders of the Turkish Republic, prominent are depictions of Kemal Atatürk, who commissioned the work, his assistant İsmet İnönü, and Fevzi Çakmak.
Finally the square has been an important venue for political protests. Groups from all sides of the political spectrum in Turkey, try to demonstrate in this square in order to use its visibility for the benefit of their cause.
Istanbul is a very crowded city with many kinds of people. This diversity creates a colorful atmosphere. Taksim is the main center of the Istanbul and you can find all kinds of people and places there. Istiklal avenue, which is in Taksim, is the most lively and dynamic street in the Turkey. If you want to have some fun party at night in Istanbul, Taksim is the perfect place for it.
If you are in Taksim and it is a bit early to start partying, you could consider to start drinking in a pub. You can start the night in a cozy place near the tunnel district. You can have some drinks in House Café, Café Pi, Asmalı Pera or at Publico. But if you are more interested to see some traditional drinks and places, you can go to Asmalı mescit or walk to Galata Bridge and have a rakı. And if you are going to drink rakı, it is recommended to try some traditional food with it.
After pre drinks, you can visit Tektekçi for some shots and warm up a little bit. The music and the people drinking outside and dancing will ready you to the night. After midnight, you can go to Küçük Beyoğlu district to go to a bar or go to music halls like Babylon, Indigo, Joly Joker. And finally, if you want a after party, you can go to Machine and dance like crazy!
