Blue Mosque: Magnificent
Blue Mosque is at the great peninsula, Sultanahmed. İt is at the opposite of Hagia Sophia. İts architecht is Mimar Sinan. He is the greatest architecht of Otoman Empire. He lived at the age of Suleiman The Magnificent. He was a great sultan, conquered new countries, improved the Otoman Laws. He ordered Sinan to build Blue Mosque. İstanbul had more than hundred earthquakes and no one them effected the mosque. The air condition is able to clear the candle smoke. The smoke is collected at a room and they made ink by using it.
The grave of Sultan Suleiman and his famous wife Hurrem, is inside the mosque. The tombs walls are full of diamonds to create the sky and stars affect. Blue Mosque has four minarets, because if a sultan build a mosque, it always has four minarets.
Suleiman The Magnificent, wanted a mosque greater than Hagia Sophia. So the Otoman empire could continue the power of Byzantinum. When you enter the mosque, you can feel peace and glory. The place has the feeling that it was built by a great civilization. The handcrafts inside will amaze you, the ceramic tiles and calligraphy. People from all over the world praying and walking inside, muslims performing namaz peacefully.
